Salary: Lead Support Worker programme, which pays the higher rate of £11.55 per hour (when you work directly with the people we support). This equates to a salary of up to £24,088.68 per annum (pro rata for part time).

For this role, you will receive £11.55 per hour (for shifts worked delivering support) plus £67.75 per shift when you work a Sleep-In.

PLEASE NOTE: This premium does not apply to hours while absent, on leave, on training, or when working additional hours chosen by you to cover vacant support hours.
The Lead Support Worker Programme offers you the opportunity to develop your experience, skills and knowledge via workplace learning and a comprehensive training programme, enabling you to progress within the organisation into management roles.
Lead Support Workers will be based within a Locality, but will also be expected to work in other services across the organisationas and when required.

Lead Support Worker – January 2023
The aim of the post: To provide support to people with a learning or physical disability to live the life they choose in accordance with their personal support plans. This will involve:
-
providing confident, high quality support to tenants with complex support needs
-
coaching other support staff as required to effectively deliver complex packages
-
moving if required to new care settings supported by the Consortium to ensure confident and stable support to tenants,
-
acting up if required to Personal Support Manager positions,
-
maintaining experience of supporting tenants with complex support needs caused by a wide range of factors
-
undertaking additional training to maintain high quality care in complex situations.

£500 joining bonus for new employees, excludes Casual Support Workers. The payment is pro rata for part time employees. £250 pro rata will be paid when your employment formally commences and £250 pro rata when you successfully complete your Probationary Period.

You will be required to:
– work a variety of shifts on a rota basis including days, evenings, weekends, wakeful nights, public holidays and sleep in duties.
– hold a full current driving licence which allows you to legally drive in the UK is also required
– have Business Class 1 vehicle insurance.
