Working with our Support Workers
heading_mp3The Targeted Support pilot started in Network 6 in August 2006 and Network 5 in April 2007. 60% of Support Workers were successfully recruited as Support Coordinators and received a 15% pay increase. Everyone has worked really hard to make this pilot work and we will soon be trying the pilot out in the first Swansea network.

The interim report from the Welsh Centre for Learning disabilities states that the quality of service is 'as least as good' with 'greater staffing efficiency'. We look forward to the final report next year.
