Other People and Information
What other people can help you when you are using Consortium services?
The Consortium Tenants Group

This is a group of Tenants who use Consortium services. They meet together to say what they think, to ask for things to be changed and give their ideas.
The Tenants group meet regularly at Consortium offices.
They can be contacted at the Consortium Office on (01792) 646640.
Professionals outside the Consortium
My Social Worker or Community Nurse

Your Social Worker or Community Nurse can help you if you don’t understand something about the way that the Consortium is supporting you.
They will also help you to make complaints if you don’t want to speak to any Consortium staff about your concerns.
Other health professionals

You may also get help from other people who can help you get the most out of living in the Community.
These people include:
Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists
Speech and Language Therapists and Psychologists
These people are usually not employed by the Consortium. You can get their help by speaking to your Social Worker or Community Nurse.

The Care and Social Standards Inspectorate for Wales
The Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales is there for people who live in Registered Care or Supported Living. You can talk to them about any concerns or problems that you have. They will also visit you to talk to you about your service.

What information should you have when using Consortium services?
My Keyworker should give you these booklets when you first start using Consortium services.
The Consortium Service User Guide and Statement of Purpose.
Complaint and Compliments Procedure.
Some of these booklets are available as a CD or video which are available on this website. You can ask your staff to get these for you.
Other Information I can have from the Consortium:
Copy of most recent inspection report from either the CSIW or The Local Authority team.
Detailed information on other Consortium Policies.
Quality assurance information produced by the Consortium.
