Our Board & Sub Groups
Sub Groups of The Management Committee
Four sub groups report to the Management Committee every quarter. These are:
Tenants Lives
Supporting Staff
Providing Quality Housing
Managing the Consortium
Health & Safety Committee
These groups will include members of the Management Committee, Tenants, Staff, Relatives and other professionals.
The sub groups have three main areas of responsibility:
Agreeing when policies need to be changed and suggesting the ways they can be improved.
Looking at the Consortium’s performance information and ensuring that the Consortium is performing well.
Making sure that the Consortium is agreeing to make the right changes through its Business Plan.
Policy Framework
The groups will be able to suggest new policies to the Management Committee.
Look for any gaps in our current policy framework.
Make any recommendations of changes to current policies to the Management Committee.
Performance Information
The sub groups will receive information about how the Consortium is performing.
Talk about positive and negative performance
Make any recommendations about how we look at performance and suggest any improvements
Check we are giving the service we should and suggest any plans for the future.
Business Planning
The sub groups will discuss the Business Plan
The sub groups will check the section relevant to the group and suggest any changes
Tasks set in the plan will be checked at each meeting
New ideas to include in future Business Plans will be discussed and suggested to the Management Committee
Structure of the Sub Groups
The sub groups will meet quarterly and the minutes sent to the full Management Committee
Minutes should be easy to read with important information being sent to staff and the people we support.
The agenda and papers should go out at least 7 days before the meeting.
The people who may be included in the groups are as follows:

- Up to 4 Representatives from tenant participation groups plus supporters
- Tenant participation officer
- Staff Representative
- Representation from Senior Management
- Other people may be invited such as Contract Manager or Relative

- Union Representation
- Representation from Personnel
- Representation from Staff Development

Providing Quality Housing
