Direct Payments and Individual Budgets
The Community Solutions Team will make proposals to revise the management structure to manage the use of Individual Budgets in the future by October 2009.
By September 2009 the Community Solutions Team will support the offering of Direct Payments to service users supported by Network 7.
The Community Solutions team will support and resource the Swansea In Control Pilot by March 2010.
By March 2010 Rick Wilson and Peter Russell will explore with NPTCBC whether they intend to act on an Individual Budget initiative.
By March 2010 the Community Solutions Team will publish a guide to purchasing your own services in the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot area
By December 2009 Rick Wilson will provide orientation material for Service Users and all CLC staff regarding the principals in control and other approaches to self directed services.
